A Poem about Night.

NIGHT

Cosy dark starlit night swirling about me like silk.

Diamond gems dancing and twinkling in the shadowy pitch black darkness.

Glowing moon shining down onto the sleeping city.

Red furry fox tiptoeing silently through its private midnight world.

Dark delicate bat darting through the sky like a fire cracker hunting for prey.

Moonlit sky as bright as a violet light.

See the badgers black and white furry coat vanishing into his silent underground world.

Glowing eyes of a swooping owl peering through the starlit sky.

Darkness smothers the world like a soft comforting blanket.

We tried to use alliteration, similes and adjectives to produce this poem as a class.
