Dear Mrs Bradford. . .

We have written persuasive letters to Mrs Bradford trying to convince her to let us go on a school trip to St. Lucia!
Read our letters to se if you think we have provided a convincing argument.

St. Lucia poem

The class shared their ideas to create a poem based about St. Lucia.

Parrots are colourful green, yellow and blue.
Bubbly volcano steaming like a kettle.
Juicy, scrumptious fruit and pineapple plantations.
Glistening Diamond Falls making rainbows.
Firey hot sun shimmering in the sky.

Planning a trip to St. Lucia?

Squirrels have been doing lots of research about St. Lucia and are becoming experts. Check out their suggestions of what to pack for a holiday.

St. Lucia sunset silhouette scenes

We created these stunning sunset pictures of St. Lucia. We had to choose the right colours of a sunset, then decide on a suitable silhouette image. We thought of the Pitons, palm trees, sailing boats and even leaping Dolphins.

St. Lucia experts

We had a letter from Mr Harvey in St. Lucia, he needed our help.
So we set to work planning then creating some leaflets for the tourist office.

Right angles!

We have been learning about right angles this week. We went around the school and grounds and found loads!! Some of us managed to find some acute angles ( narrower than a right angle) and obtuse angles ( wider than a right angle).

Here are just a few of the right angles that we found:

Connor found an acute angle in the tree!

The canopy had right angles and acute angles!

The playground had an obtuse angle
