Stretch investigation.

How far can you stretch? That was the question we had to solve so we set straight to work finding out.

First we marked how far we could reach normally, then we stretched as far as we could and marked again. We had to measure the distance between the two marks to find out how far our stretches were. We tried it standing and also lying down. 

We had lots of fun answering this question. Mrs Kineavy thinks we didn't even realise we were doing maths! 

Jack and Douglas in Caister.

Jack and Douglas had a lovely holiday last week. Douglas tried lots of new things he has never done before like go karting, playing on a beach and even eating ice cream.

It is so pretty a fairy even popped in for a visit.

Gracie has also been caring for her sunflower.

Megan's garden.

Megan’s garden, she has a pond, bird box, flower garden and some potatoes growing, with stepping stones to walk on.

Oscar's mountain garden.

Come on up to Oscar's garden if you are brave enough! First you must mountaineer up the huge rocks, then when you eventually reach the top you may have to face elephants or hippos at the water hole. But the view if you persevere is definitely worth it. Well done Oscar.
