Our sunflowers

We only planted these sunflower seeds 5 days ago, I think you have the magic touch Jack.
I wonder if any one else can compete with you!

Tiger Tiles.

when we were looking at reversible and irreversible changes we used clay. We discovered that once it had been fired in the kiln it would not change back to soft clay again. We used the clay to make a 'tiger tile'. Now they have been painted and varnished they look fabulous

Measuring!

Do the largest feet jump the furthest? The children had to answer this question.

They needed to decide what to do and how to do it.
The children found the equipment they needed.
They needed to decide how to share their findings.

SUNFLOWER

We have written an acrostic poem based on a sunflower.

Stands tall and straight
Up to the sun.
No other flower looks as proud.
Follows the sun throughout the day.
Lined up in rows of golden faces.
Only sunflowers stretch so high.
Waving gently in the breeze.
End of the season sees it whither.
Raining seeds scatter in the wind.
